With easy access to the bikini beach and the best restaurants in town, I would reccomend staying on the south side of the island.
Hotel Picks
Ostrov was a nice spot, they have a private beach on the east side right next to the hotel and the breakfast was one of the better buffets we encountered in the Maldives
Airport to Ukulhas
This was about a 2 hour speedboat ride, that cost $50. Talk to your accommodation and they will book it for you
Tours
Here they had a specific Manta Ray snorkeling tour. We did see two Manta Rays in this particular spot. The tour included a stop at the nurse sharks and a sandbank too.
Bikini Beach
This was a decent size bikini beach. There were a lot of chairs and seating scattered among the shade. While many chairs did have hotel names on them, we found that sitting in them didn’t get us kicked out
