Fulidhoo : where a blue lagoon and nurse sharks greet you

Accommodation

This island is so tiny, that a spot anywhere would be fine for walking. Only suggestion is that the Mosque is where the red arrow is pointing.

Ship Wreck Snorkel

We didnt find any other snorkel trips to shipwrecks while in the Maldives, so this is a very unique tour. However the ship floats and moves quite a bit. Ask your tour operator ahead of time for the position of the ship to avoid disappointment

Beaches of Fulidhoo

Bikini Beach

With a sandy bottom and clear blue water its quintessential Maldives beach. Unlike other bikini beaches there is limited shade here. See the red line on the map below

Beach West

While not a bikini beach, it is a great sunset. Come in your dinner garb for sunset and eat after. Blue line in image below

North Beach/Snorkeling

While I’m certain that is not the name of this beach, the beach on the north has the house reef that stretches the whole island. The beach is on the open side on the atoll so expect choppy water on windy days. Yellow line on the image to the right

Go See The Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays

Fulidhoo’s dock is a great evening stop off after dinner. Two large flood lights illuminate the water, and local fisherman chum from the dock. This brings both nurse sharks and manta rays to come a feed. After dinner each night we would stop by on our way home and saw sharks every single time

Take a Catamaran Trip

Taking a sail boat can be a fun and relaxing experience, however taking a small catamaran is entirely different. Luau Beach Resort has a small Catamaran you can rent with a guide. Get ready to be splashed and wander far outside the lagoon on this awesome ride
